June 11th from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm

The Olathe Hazardous Waste facility

1420 S. Robinson Drive Olathe, KS  66061

The event is hosted each 2nd Saturday and no appointment is necessary.

Items accepted:

• Aerosol cans (paint, bug spray, cleaners)
• Automotive fluids (antifreeze, oil, gasoline)
• Automotive batteries (lead-acid) and Household batteries
• Bathroom cleaners
• Carpet cleaners
• Cooking oil
• Drain cleaners
• Fertilizers
• Floor cleaners/polish
• Fluorescent light bulbs
• Fuels (diesel, gasoline, kerosene)
• Latex paint
• Mercury (thermometers, thermostats)
• Motor oil
• Oil-based paints
• Paint thinners
• Pesticides
• Solvents
• Stains/varnishes
• Wood preservatives

• Business wastes of any kind
• Empty containers  
• Biological wastes
• Explosives/ammunition
