Unseasonably Warm Weather in Kansas City is Good For Some and Bad For Others

Unseasonably Warm Weather in Kansas City is Good For Some and Bad For Others

Last year Kansas City came to an almost screeching halt. The heavy snow storms and extreme cold weather made Christmas break for the kids who stayed in Kansas City, kinda boring. Sure, it is nice to play with the Christmas video games and toys for a couple day, but for a couple weeks gets kind of boring.

Restaurants and retail businesses also suffered last Christmas break. I think the only businesses that really prospered were snow removal businesses.

What a reversal this year. The weather during Christmas break has been in the 40-50's. Today looks to be in the 60's. Kids will be out in shorts at the parks, trails and the Kansas City Zoo.

Restaurants are also packed this year.

It seems like the only businesses really complaining are the snow removal businesses.

Today, as I stated eariler, the weather should be in the 60's. I predict a lot of people playing hooky from work. Maybe they'll head out to the golf course, an outdoor mall like the Legends, or the Kansas City Zoo.
