Tips to Guarantee That Your House Never Sells

There are plenty of experts who offer tips on how to sell real estate . But what if you want to list your home, just for fun, but don’t want it to sell, then what?   If you want to make sure that your home doesn’t sell, here are some valuable tips.
  1. Make sure your home is not easily shown– If nobody can see your home, then there is no way anybody will ever buy it. The first step to do this is to sell by owner rather than hire a professional real estate agent. And, never answer your phone when potential buyers call to arrange showings. If you don’t answer the phone, they can’t see your home, and if they can’t see it, they won’t buy it.
  2. Make Your Home the Most Expensive — Almost everyone goes online to searchKennesaw Georgia homes for sale. Make sure your home is more expensive than other homes buyers will visit.
  3. No Online Pictures – A picture is worth a thousand words. Buyers want online details to narrow down the houses they will actually visit with their real estate agent. If you don’t add ANY photo’s, they will just skip your listing without even looking at the other details.
  4. Keep Your Home Stuffy and Stinky — Foul smells can turn Tooele Utah Real Estatebuyers off faster than anything else. Consider animal urine, cigaret smoke, or just rotten food if you want to get rid of buyers quickly. If the odor is bad enough, buyers won’t even bother seeing anything beyond the entry room.
  5. Keep Your Home Cluttered and Messy – If your home has a smashing floor plan, you can totally detract from this by having stuff, especially garbage, everywhere. Clutter will detract from any positive selling point your home has. Home lookers will be so distracted by junk, that they won’t even realize there are positive features. Their thoughts will be completely distracted wondering how anyone could live in such a messy house.
  6. Have Broken Items – Buyers more often than not want a well maintained home. They want to know that they aren’t going to have to fix problems as soon as they move into their new house. One way to help detract this is to make sure there are plenty of broken items buyers will notice while viewing your home. Consider cracked or broken windows, constant running toilets, holes in walls, stains on carpet, and doors and windows that don’t open.
  7. Minimize Curb Appeal – First impressions are most important, so if you can give a bad first impression, your chances of not selling your house are pretty good. The best way to give a bad first impression is with poor curb appeal. Avoid mowing your lawn, and don’t bother watering it either. It takes only minimal effort to allow weeds to completely consume all planter areas. Ensure that exterior paint and trim look wasted. The stigma of loose paint chips on homes built before 1978 can transform opinions almost miraculously. To really help set that bad first impression, jam the front door so it is really hard to get open.
By following these seven steps, you can guarantee that homes in Roswell GA   will never sell, especially in this rough buyers market.
