The first option is increase the marketability of your home. This means stage the home so home buyers will be attracted to your home. Remove dated decor like carpet, hardware and window treatments. Next declutter, counter tops and furniture. Next, neutralize walls and carpet.
Need more help? The second option is lower the price. Proper pricing is important. After reviewing comparable homes that have sold in your area, price your home to sell within the next 30 days. Homes with the wrong price, typically will become stagnant and will eventually sell for less than properly priced at the beginning.
Ok, you have staged your home and you have it priced as low as you can go, what now?
Try offering better terms. You can first offer to pay the buyers closing cost or points. Another option is sell your home as a lease purchase or if you have substantial equity, offer owner financing.
