Big Jump in Real Estate Sales in Johnson County, Kansas – Sales Prices will Start to Increase
According to the Heartland MLS real estate stats for Johnson County, closed sales jumped in Septmeber 2011 versus September 2010 by 122 real estate sales. There were 634 real estate sales in September 2011 versus 512 real estate sales in September 2010.
Although sales have increased from this time last year, sales have actually dropped from August 2011. In August of 2011 there were 101 more real estate sales.
With fewer listings available for home buyers and mortgage interest rates at near all time lows, look for real estate sales prices to increase in the near future.
With listings down and mortgage interest rates at historical lows, look for home values in Johnson County, Kansas to start to increase.
