Pending homes sales down 36% in Kansas according to the Kansas City Heartland MLS

According to the Kansas City Heartland MLS, pending contracts in Kansas for the month of March were down 333 or -36% of the same month in 2010. Last year the first time home buyer tax credit really stimulated the real estate market. This year despite lower home values and low interest rates, real estate sales are sluggish.

The year to date numbers don’t look much better in Kansas. Homes in pending status are down 29% compared to the same time last year.

RE/MAX sells more homes than any other real estate company.
For a reason...should we talk?
