It has happened couple of times the past couple weeks. After a showing, the agent would leave feedback that the buyer loved my house and were very interested in buying, but my Realtor will never hear from the agent again. What happened?

Question: It has happened couple of times the past couple weeks. After a showing, the agent would leave feedback that the buyer loved my house and were very interested in buying, but my Realtor will never hear from the agent again. What happened?

Answer: There is no simple answer. The buyers may have loved your home, but then fell in love with another home after yours. They could have done a comparison study and may have found a home that was better priced. The agent could have also just been being nice and pointing out nice things or being polite. I would suggest having a Saleability review completed on your home. In 22 years, the Saleability review has offered much insight for home sellers. Be prepared to either make physical changes to your home or lower the price.
