Question: I am making plans to relocate to Overland Park this year from St. Louis. I need help in finding a great real estate agent in St. Louis so I can sell my home and move. What suggestions do you have for choosing a real estate agent who will be energetic and interested in my property?
–James P. from St. Louis, Missouri
Answer: I will give you a few great suggestions for finding a great real estate agent in St. Louis.
First, ask neighbors, friends and family members in the area. Surely somebody has a great referral.
Second, Google your city and community and read the bios from the top agents in the area.
Third, call a few agents who have listings in the area.
Fourth, the Dowell Taggart Team would be happy to refer a great real estate agent. We'll need some additional information so we can do a pre-screen of agents.
When choosing a listing agent, interview 3 real estate agents. Ask questions that will determine experience, knowledge of the area, their marketing plan for your home, honesty and availability.
A great agent will market your home on the first page of Google, will have an award winning website and will be proficient with social media. Check them out on social media and see how many friends and followers they have. Great agents will have a mass following.
Hope this helps. Again we would be happy to help pre-screen agents for you and send you the best real estate agents.
RE/MAX sells more homes than any other real estate company.
