According to reports, Comcast of Olathe, Kansas installed a line at a homeless shelter in Olathe. Well, if the story ended here, it would be a normal story.
The problem here is after the landlord of the building hired a plumber to investigate a pungent smell that was starting to evacuate the building, it was discovered that Comcast of Olathe, KS. installed the line through a sewer line.
The problem here is the Shelter and landlord contacted Fox 4 of KC to help after repeated phone calls to Comcast of Olathe, KS. went unanswered.
From rumors, Comcast of Olathe sent a crew to the building but because of the improper equipment did not offer to fix the problem.
The homeless shelter is still closed.

I read your blog post this morning regarding Comcast causing the closing of a homeless shelter in Olathe.
ReplyDeleteFirst, Comcast did the citizens of Olathe a favor. Olathe does not need any free loaders. I'm glad they caused the homeless shelter to close.
Second, Comcast should not fix the repairs. They have a disclosure that protects them. The sewer is probably old and needed to be replaced and the landlord is hiding behind a minor mistake that Comcast did.
Glad to hear that Comcast has fixed the problem and the shelter is open.
