Kansas City soccer stadium development in the Village West Development area rated "top deal" for real estate projects

Site Selection, a magazine that bills itself as 'the magazine of corporate real estate strategy and area economic development,' has selected the Kansas City, Cerner/Sporting Kansas City project as one of the top deals in North America.

The magazine selected and released its top 10 development projects based on the facility reuse, flexible production, consolidation and creative financing solutions of the project.

The development is expected to value out at $414 million and produce roughly 4,000 jobs for Kansas City.

The Cerner and Sporting Kansas City project is a soccer stadium located in the Village West development area in western Wyandotte County. The area features the Kansas Speedway, CommunityAmerica Ballpark, Schlitterbahn Vacation Village and Water Park, Dave and Busters, Great Wolf Lodge, The Legends at the Village West shopping center, Cabela's, Nebraska Furniture Mart and much more.
