Homes Sell all Year 'Round!
"Will my Kansas City home sell during the Winter?"
"Will my Kansas City home sell during the Winter?"
By far and away the most common question we get from Sellers this time of year.
Most home sales take place during the months included from Spring to Fall. Does the weather encourage people to spend money? Do the spring flowers blooming provide a back drop for growth and change? Do the hot summer months bring out a strong desire to leave your old home and find something with a better AC system?
Does the Holiday season, with the familiar scent of kitchen cooking and warming fires in our family rooms engender feelings of nesting...staying home? Or is it simply a pain the the rear to move while it's snowing outside?
Who knows? The Shadow....Nah, he doesn't know either!
Truth is, while fewer homes sell during the Winter months, there are advantages to selling during the Winter.
Winter Buyers are less likely to be "tire-kicking low ballers" bent on moving ONLY if they find the proverbial, "Great Deal"! Winter Buyers are a hardy group of rugged individualists, braving snow and cold in an effort to find a HOME. They know that they are moving family and hearth prepared to send children to new schools because they are driven. Driven by changes in circumstance, job relocation, lottery winnings....does it matter?
Winter Sellers of Kansas City Real Estate are motivated. Oh Yes.
These folks are not dabbling their toes in the water....No, these folks are diving into the icy waters like they were members of the Polar Bear Club, knowing their goals are not optional, their focus is clear, their purpose edged with resolve.
Selling your Olathe or Overland Park home has never been easier, with interest rates are at near record lows, and dozens of qualified Buyers chomping at the bit to get started...and FEWER COMPETING HOMES MEANS YOUR HOME STANDS OUT!
RE/MAX sells more real estate than any other company in the world. When should we talk?
RE/MAX sells more homes than any other real estate company.
For a reason...should we talk?
