Set your clocks back 1 hour this Saturday for the Fall Time Change in Kansas City

Don't forget about the time change this weekend. Saturday night before you go to bed set your clocks back 1 hour. The extra hour will help.

Also, when you are setting back your clocks be sure to do to things with your smoke detectors. The first is obvious and that is change the batteries. The second one is less obvious. Check the expiration date of the smoke detector. That is right. Most people probably don't check the expiration date. According to a fire marshal that I talked to a few years back, many of the homes that had accidental fires that he had inspected had expired smoke detectors.
