According to a recent article I read on my Google Reader, a home buyer received an average discount of 25% on foreclosure homes compared to non-foreclosure homes in Kansas City.


Zillow has been compiling real estate information on 16 metropolitan areas including Kansas City. In their research they have found that the average buyer who buys a foreclosure property gets an average nationwide of 28% off similar non-foreclosure properties.
