Every weekend in October is full of ghoulish, fallish, animal-tastic fun. October 8 and 9 brings Clifford, the big red dog, to the Kansas City Zoo. Meet Clifford and other entertainers from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.

Follow the treasure map through the Zoo for your adventures. Ride the hay ride, stroll through the Haunted Valley and test your skills at walking the plank, hunting for treasures and playing games. Zoo visitors will enjoy the Recycle Cycle, strolling magicians, rope maze, a spooky animal show, pedal tractors, and much more as we celebrate autumn weather.  

Plus, watch the hippos chomp on pumpkins on Saturday and the lions pounce on pumpkins on Sunday, both at 12:30 p.m.
