When officers arrived at Joe’s Crab Shack about 2 p.m., they arrested a woman in connection with the reported theft but a man took off, nearly hitting a police officer with his vehicle, police said.
Officers tracked the license plate to a home in the 19000 block of West 159th Terrace where the man refused to come out, triggering a police standoff that lasted until shortly after 10 p.m., when the man surrendered and was taken into custody.
