Zero Down USDA Deadline for Gardner, KS. has been Extended

I have received word today that the USDA deadline of January 15th for zero down USDA rural development loans for Gardner, KS. has been extended. That means home buyers who want to buy a home with zero down in Gardner can still do so if they qualify for a USDA RD mortgage loan.


The reason why this is important is home buyers can still buy a home with zero out of their pocket. Putting nothing down does not raise the house payment more than around $18 a month. In many cases, a home buyer with a zero down USDA mortgage could have a smaller house payment than a home buyer going with a 5% conventional mortgage loan.

The new deadline has not been announced.
